Synchronicities part 1 : A Gateway to the Spiritual World

Throughout my later years, I have been fortunate to discover the concept of synchronicities—meaningful coincidences that seem to guide us in unexpected ways. While synchronicities can be difficult to explain, they are best understood through personal experience. 

My first significant synchronicity occurred in 2008. At the time, I was involved in network marketing with Herbalife and closely followed the ideas of a U.S. network marketer who introduced me to ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ by Wallace Wattles. One particular section on gratitude stood out to me, shaping my understanding that expressing gratitude is an essential component of receiving abundance in life. 

During this period, I was struggling financially. Without active employment, my bank account was steadily declining, and I realized I needed to take decisive action to improve my situation. 

One Saturday morning, I walked to the local corner store and purchased a newspaper, feeling an overwhelming need to change my circumstances. I was anxious, even desperate. As I flipped to the employment section, a full-page advertisement caught my eye: call centre operators were needed for an intake at the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. In that moment, I felt as though the advertisement was speaking directly to me. 

I had been on leave without pay from Medicare and wasn’t expected to return for a few months. Yet something urged me to respond. I submitted my application on Monday, and to my surprise, I received a phone call the same day inviting me to start work immediately. A training program was beginning the next day, and I was welcomed into it. 

I was stunned. Life had provided a solution when I needed it most. Suddenly, I had employment, and my financial worries eased. 

This event was more than coincidence—it was a profound confirmation that when we embrace gratitude and trust in life’s unfolding, opportunities present themselves in the most unexpected ways. That synchronicity marked the beginning of a new chapter for me. My work with PBS brought both challenges and rewards, shaping my professional path in meaningful ways. 

Synchronicities serve as gateways to transformation, arriving at the right time and place to guide us. They remind us that when we live in gratitude and trust the journey, life responds in kind, leading us toward the paths we are meant to follow.
